Ian de Hoog has been involved with photography full-time for the past five years. His love for capturing the important moments in peoples' lives makes his work genuine and memorable. Ian has had the priviledge of being involved in numerous weddings through the eye of his camera. He seeks to capture the most important moments of your special day, as well as the stolen moments that are shared only between the bride and groom.
In recent competition Ian was awarded 'Photographer of the Year for Vancouver Island' at the 2002 PPABC Island Salon with yet another of his wedding images receiving a 'Judges' Choice'. Last year, in his first competition, Ian received 'Best Wedding Portrait for Vancouver Island' at the 2001 PPABC Island Salon and later received 'Best First Entry' at the 2002 Professional Photographers of BC provincial convention as well as an honourable mention in the same category.
